Nintendo held a special conference for the 3DS on September 12th/13th in Japan. This conference would highlight what Nintendo's plans for the 3DS would be this year and the following. After hearing about what's in store for Nintendo fanatics and gamers alike, i gotta say this is going to be a very exciting year for everyone. In case a few of you missed some of the announcements that were made yesterday, i'll name a few just to get everyone up to speed.
Japan will be getting an expansion slide pad for the 3DS on December 10 for ¥1,500, Monster Hunter 4 will be released that same day.
Misty pink 3DS announced as well, this 3DS model will be released on October 20th in Japan for ¥15,000.
Super Mario 3D Land box art was revealed, along with a new trailer. The game has also finally gotten a release date of November 13th.
Mario Kart 7 box art was also revelead, along with a new trailer as well. The game's release date is December 4. A new first person perspective has been added to the game, allowing you to drive with motion instead of the d-pad.

Other Conference News
- This November, a new system update for the portable Nintendo 3DS™ system will enable owners to capture 3D video footage. People will be able to record and view moments from birthday parties, soccer games and holiday events, or create their own original 3D productions and show them to others in 3D, all without the need for special glasses.
- Details for the downloadable The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition has also been release by Nintendo this fine morning. It will only be available for a limited time starting on September 28, 2011, and ending February 20, 2012. DSi and DSi XL owners can download the DSiWare version any time starting September 28 and 3DS owners will have to sign into the eShop sometime during that time period.
guys are as stoked as I am about what Nintendo has in store for us. With the announcement of the Wii U console, Dragon Quest X, Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, and amazing 3DS games, the future for Nintendo fans has never looked brighter. Can't wait to see what the rest of 2011 and 2012 have in store for us.
